I am often asked, “What is a mindful divorce? How did you come up with that name for your law practice?”

After handling highly contested divorce cases and divorce trials in Palm Beach County for over 10 years, I was introduced to the collaborative divorce process.

This was an eye opener for me.  Instead of attacking your spouse with a lawsuit and making a difficult situation much worse for the entire family, you can choose not to fight in court.

You can choose a process that provides you with collaboratively trained divorce lawyers, and allied professionals that work with you and your spouse to achieve the result that is best for your family.  You don’t have to put yourself and your family at the mercy of a judge.

You can choose not to waste your time or money fighting in Court.

You can hire a team of like minded professionals to help you and your family resolve your divorce with respect, privacy and peace of mind.

That is what a mindful divorce is in my opinion.

I decided to focus my practice in helping families resolve their divorce without fighting in Court.

This is a short book outlining how we help families through the divorce process, without fighting in court.

Questions this books answers:

  1. Do I have to file a lawsuit to start my divorce?
  2. What is a Collaborative Divorce?
  3. How long does a collaborative divorce take?
  4. How much does a collaborative divorce cost?
