- Comprehensive assessment of your marriage, family and finances by a Collaboratively Trained Divorce Attorney with over 15 years of practice experience in Palm Beach County, Florida.
- Detailed Explanation of the legal process of divorce in Florida, and divorce process options, including the Collaborative Divorce Process.
- Attorney representation in every aspect of your Collaborative Divorce.
2. Participation Agreement
- Attorney Drafting and signing the collaborative law participation agreement with you.
- Attorney Outlining the rules and expectations for the process with you.
3. Assembling the Collaborative Team
- Attorney Coordination with outside professionals to assist you in reaching your Collaborative Marital Settlement Agreement- options include: financial neutral, mental health professional, child specialist (outside professionals are not covered under this agreement).
- Scheduling and organizing team meetings
4. Financial Analysis
- Detailed review of assets, liabilities, and financial documents
- Detailed review of financial statements and budgets
5. Settlement Negotiations & Meetings
- Detailed Preparation of documents and legal research for each settlement conference
- Option-building and proposed solutions for the legal issues that will arise in your Collaborative Divorce Process
- Legal advice and representation for key issues such as property division, spousal support, parenting plan and child support
- Ensuring open, respectful, and productive discussions and negotiations
6. Drafting Agreements
- Attorney Preparation of all necessary legal documents
7. Review and Finalization
- Attorney review with you your final agreement before you sign
- Attorney drafting any necessary revisions
- Attorney finalizing and signing the settlement agreement with you
8. Court Filing
- Attorney handling and preparation of all required court procedures and filings to finalize your divorce in Florida
9. Post-Divorce Support
- Providing guidance on implementing the terms of your agreement
- Offering additional support for any post-divorce issues that may arise
10. Service Period Covered
- All services stated herein are covered by the fixed fee for a period not to exceed 5 months, or 5 settlement meetings, whichever occurs first
Total Cost: $12,000 (due upon employment)
The fixed fee pricing above provides an estimate of attorney’s fees and may vary depending upon your unique situation. It is meant to provide potential clients with an estimate of what their divorce may cost, depending on their circumstances.
Upon meeting with us, we will discuss your specific marriage and goals for divorce and provide you with a written fee agreement to have Mindful Divorce P.A. help you with your divorce.
Your signed employment agreement will be based on the specific circumstances of your case as discussed with your attorney.
